Southern Rensselaer Neighbors for Peace

Southern Rensselaer Neighbors for Peace held its first meeting in early April, 2006 and soon began a weekly Peace Vigil.

The response from drivers has been mostly positive. Once a month we vigil in another location – East Greenbush and West Sand Lake so far.  We welcome others to join us.

We have held several potluck suppers with meetings. At the one in June we hosted two members of the Muslim community for conversations about their religion and culture.

In September Ed Tick, clinical psychotherapist, who works for patients with PSTDspoke at the East Greenbush Library about his book, “War and the Soul”

Southern Rensselaer Neighbors for Peace is a branch of Upper Hudson Peace Action.
