NEIGHBORS FOR PEACE
Report of meeting
October 16
18 people attended the meeting.
- The Mark Twain War Prayer, and a Dec. vigil planned for Schenectady
Community College. The War Prayer will be practiced on group members during
our next meeting, Nov. 13th, and then will be taken on the road to receptive
church groups and youth groups.
- The Counter Recruitment Group requested further training and information
to be presented at a separate meeting to be held at Elizabeth's home on
11/16th. Elizabeth and Cary plan to participate in the Selective Service and
Draft Registration to be held in Troy on 11/5.
- We also discussed the possibility of an anti-torture billboard
contest, to pick out an effective message and visual for such.
