Monday , July 27
On WRPI radio, in the 4-5:30pm time period Larry Wittner will be talking about Hiroshima/Nagasaki events and his new book, Confronting the Bomb: A short history of the World Nuclear Disarmament Movement (Stanford University Press.)

Vigil with the Hiroshima banners, Four Corners, 5-6pm.

Vigil with banners Hoosick Street between 9th and 10th, south side, 5-6pm.

Wednesday, August 5

Albany
Vigil at noon, west Capitol Park with Hiroshima banners.  Petitioning with the Nuclear Disarmament petition.

Hiroshima/Nagasaki Memorial Event, Central Park, meet at the Rose Garden at 5:15pm   Wear white the color of mourning in Japan.  An art fair and folk concert  will also be in the park.  Our program includes a march through the park.  Bring banners, petitions, props, readings.  For more information:  elaineklein@hotmail.com
