On WRPI radio, in the 4-5:30pm time period Larry Wittner will be talking about Hiroshima/Nagasaki events and his new book, Confronting the Bomb: A short history of the World Nuclear Disarmament Movement (Stanford University Press.)

Vigil at noon, west Capitol Park with Hiroshima banners.  Petitioning with the Nuclear Disarmament petition.

Vigil with banners, 4:30 to 5:30pm at Schodack Plaza, corner of Schuurman Rd and Routes 9 & 20.

Vigil with banners, petitioning, corner of Jay and Liberty Sts next to the Post Office, 11am-12pm

Schenectady
Hiroshima/Nagasaki Memorial Event, Central Park, meet at the Rose Garden at 5:15pm   Wear white the color of mourning in Japan.  An art fair and folk concert  will also be in the park.  Our program includes a march through the park.  Bring banners, petitions, props, readings.  For more information:  elaineklein@hotmail.com
